Maybe maybe not.
Carol is one of Marvel's favorite characters to push at the moment and one of their favorite current tactics is to have random characters fawn all over her.
On the other hand Scarlet Witch is kind of gimped and useless in the films despite being massively powerful so maybe they aren't as concerned with pushing that sort of thing.
Either way the movie is going to suck.
I have never seen a Carol centric story not suck.
