>>104909207Ignoring Jaune's complete idiocity in V1, which can be chalked up to "teenage idiocity" (piss-poor excuse, in my opinion, my 17 y/o self wasn't that retarded), because he grew up from it, Jaune Arc:
1) is a completely illogical character that decided to risk his own life, and other people's by proxy, by joining a Huntsman Secondary School without recieving proper education (that he did not have to recieve by his family, he could've just joined a Primary Huntsman School) for what amounts to "Glory!"
2)...that the world of Remnant (in this case Beacon, Ozpin and Pyrrha) bends over for to give him a chance at his idiotic and unrealistic wishes;
3) while we are supposed (the writers try) to make us believe that Remnant is a cutthroat world were might makes right (racism, Adam, Raven, Cinder, etc.)
4)Whose entire plotline ("Everyman becomes Great!", after they failed to make us believe "Child Prodigy" Ruby is an Everywoman ["I was garbage before Uncle Qrow trained me!"]) is literally invalidated by the fact that a Maiden will inevitably contain more power in her fingers than he will in his whole body in a lifetime because Selectively (Women only!) Ereditary (ala. Bijuu in Naruto but more sexist) Superpowers are the end-all-be-all-of anime, ignoring the Silver Eyes that are apparently completely random;
5)whose only practical saving graces are completely theoretical skills I could honestly see myself doing better than him (Brains? None. Leadership? Barely adequate.);
6)that we're supposed to root for and cherish for his "Heroic Spirit" when all we've seen is an idiotic irrational bumblefuck that only makes the story contradict itself (I would also say "coward" but step one of conquering fear is feeling fear, so it's fine);
7)whose fighting is completely based on another character who did it better (Pyrrha), that therefore has no cool scenes in an ACTION series (cont.)
