Why are DC heroes that are telepaths much more moral on how they use their powers than Marvel telepaths?

In a way that’s true. DC heroes by their nature are usually there to be the best that people can be. The Marvel method has always been to humanize and humble their heroes, but over time that has made writers more prone to writing characters as assholes instead of just relatable, because those writers have a warped concept of humanity.

DC doesn't care about "human behavior." It's a setting where your average folk are almost universally good and caring, and willing to help out when their heroes are in a rough spot. It's why they're all destined to be the replacements for the New Gods of New Genesis one day. DC is a setting built upon the fundamental principles of good.

I wonder what the ratio of moral to amoral people there are in the world is? I read an article saying humans are basically really terrible people but I don't meet any of the qualification except laughing at schadenfrued. I met a cop once who told me "There are good people... and there are bad people. And that's all there is to it." Its a really simple point but it spoke depths to me since I always assumed that everyone is a moral person but some were just down on their luck.

Also telepaths terrify me because I have a pretty dark psyche, I'd die of embarrassment if I found out anyone reading my thoughts. Also I'm a perv. Yes I realize the irony of writing this blogpost here.

JLA/Avengers was spot on and Busiek would know. He worked on both JLA and Avengers.

The crisis was actually because they had to mindwipe Batman. Also, that same mini implied that Superman knew what was going on but chose to not do shit, so much for having the moral high ground.

Civil War 1 alone beats that. And they just keep going from there. Avengers vs X-men. World War Hulk. Inhumans vs X-Men. SRA. Secret Empire. Time Runs Out and Secret War. Civil War 2z

Marvel characters don’t have skeletons in their closets, they have entire graveyards. The Hulk is a brute thug powered by rage and he’s still more moral than 80 percent of the “heroes”.
