>>104582340>Ginger nearly getting iced by appendicitisI forgot about this one. Now I’m reminded of how The Wild Thornberries did their own appendicitis episode where Eliza almost dies from appendicitis, and Ginger’s episode was so much better.
With Ginger, she had just gotten out of a breakup, and when she tries to tell people “it feels like my insides have exploded,” they just think she’s sad. And there’s a lot of weight and concern when everyone finally figures out she’s in danger.
In The Wild Thornberries, Eliza goes off into the wilderness or some shit like she always does, skips every safetly precaution she’s warned to follow like she always does, and ignores her own pain until she’s like an inch from death and somebody has to save her, again, pretty much like in most episodes. Eliza was such a shit character it was hard to care that she was dying.
