>>104067817Smash is the holiday game of the year. And the intended demographic is similar to Kingdom Hearts. What do you think a parent is going to tell their kid if the kid comes back to the parent saying the following immediately next month after buying Smash Bros Ultimate:
"Buy me Kingdom Hearts 3!"
The parent has every reason to say "We already bought Smash Bros Ultimate recently, you're not going to get a new game right off the bat. Smash Bros's Christmas Season bonus is going to influence purchases for the next immediate month. So yes KH3 will have a harder time selling with this condition in mind.
As for the other games, remember gamers, especially young ones, do not like to feel infantile so they will mostly go for the edgy violent and guns filled game over a Disney kiddy thing that will make them get made fun of by their peer group. And Devil May Cry does what Kingdom Hearts already does, but with better mechanics and the bonus of appealing mainstream violence and guns that fire actual bullets.
So yeah, Kingdom Hearts 3 in total may sell up to 2 million units in lifetime sales if we're lucky.
