I predict that on the 1st Day of 2019, when the Disney FOX Deal is expected to close, SONY will announce that they are completely taking the Film rights back and removing Spider-Man & all connected Characters from the MCU, then adding them to the SUMC after the Universal Acclaim for Spider-Man Into the SpiderVerse and the HUGE Box Office profit from Spider-Man Into the SpiderVerse & Venom and because of that, Spider-Man Far from Home will be the last MCU appearance of Peter Parker/Spider-Man and all connected or SONY owned Characters.

Sony only entered into this bargain because they weren't making the YUGE profits from Spider-Man they were expecting.
A more likely tact is to continue lending back Spider-Man and his supporting cast in exchange for recognition as MCU canon and guest appearances from MCU characters, and useage of Spider-Man-close characters like Kingpin they may not have rights to.

One can only hope. Homecoming was solid but devoid of anything that would make it unique. ASM 1 and 2 weren't objectively better than Homecoming but I have more fun watching both of those movies while I just don't feel a thing when watching Homecoming even though I feel that it's a better movie

I still can't explain it but every single MCU movie after Phase 1 left me feeling nothing after watching it except for Iron Man 3 (fuck them for Mandarin though) and Winter Soldier. Even the worst Sony, Fox, and DCEU movies make me feel as if I have actually watched something interesting

It's a fun performance by Tom Hardy in an otherwise rote and genuinely stupid movie.
I don't even like Tom Hardy as an actor and I really appreciated how hard he worked in the movie. But everything else is utterly predictable SyFy trash.

Didn't they also make a shit ton of money with Raimi's and Webb's movies? I honestly don't even know why they gave Marvel the rights because all five movies made loads of money, especially Raimi's movies. Seems to me that it was only internal issues that led to each franchise being cancelled

The ASM movies did not give a great return comparable to the budgets they lavished on them.

They were building box office momentum under Raimi and the ASM movie were a big step backwards.

Nice way to project, dimwit. I fucking love the 90s Disney movies and Phase 1 of the MCU. With Avengers 1, Disney learned to use their shitty formula though that makes all their movies generic. That in combination with decreasing CGI quality and dialogues being exchanged for quips is a huge factor in the movies being bland

They should have just sticked to the ASM movies because those actually felt like the comics, even if campy and stupid at times. I feel like the Spidey action in those two movies is better than in all the other movies by far even though the story obviously doesn't hold up well. I would have genuinely liked to see a third movie as well as the Sinister Six movie

They were literally making less money with each movie, at greater cost. Neither got close to Spider-Man 3's box office.
Holding the course with ASM was never an option.

1. The phase one movies are not tonally different from phase 2 or 3. Iron Man 1 literally sets the tone for a lot of the MCU moving forward. So you are just setting up your "love" for phase 1 so you can Concern Troll. Go fuck yourself.

2. Movies like Winter Soldier, Iron Man 2, and Civil War share nothing tonally or in story structure with lighter fare like the GotG movies or Thor. Your generalization is specious and stupid.

3, The CGI was never Avatar-quality in the MCU. They've never aimed for ultra-cutting edge CGI, they've never at any point won Oscars in visuals (tho they have been nominated). Neither have the other company's superhero stuff. While some effects haven't been pulled off as successfully (like Tony Head on suits), the SFX in the later phases are just as good as The Avengers.

Stop being a shit-flinger and have real complaints, and you'll get better replies.

Now I know you're just being a retard. Just watch how Iron Man looked like in IM1 (10 years ago) and what he looks like now. Not only do they not use practical effects anymore but he actually looks worse CGI wise after 10 fucking years of new tech. Thor 1 also looks a thousand times better in comparison to Thor 3 so I don't know whether you actually ever saw the movies or whether you're just shilling for the sake of it. Btw, more recent examples of bad CGI would be Black Panther and Infinity War (sans Thanos who looked great). In addition to that, notice how the movies have turned greyish because the CGI team isn't able to properly integrate CGI into the movies anymore. Same thing can't be said about the first few movies. I am pretty sure that is because Disney outsourced the CGI after acquiring the license

The funniest thing about this is that lots of fans, including myself, actually usually agree on these points because they have been a point of discussion ever since Thor 2
