He wanted more indian american characters but ones without accents, no stereotypical indian jobs, and definitely not the butt of any jokes. He created an impossible situation for the poor zombie show, he basically was asking for an army of indian lisa’s. Hari’s whole “style” of comedy is whine about how none woke people are, and this dying show is suppose to take his comedic advice? The show is literally about taking the piss out of their characters based on stereotyoes (or was, who the fuck knows what it is now), and this guy just made indians off limits, adding them to the show without being able to make any jones towards them was so not worth it, that now springfield just doesnt have indian representation.
Intentions matter, but far less then results.
