When I was watching that scene, I only heard wispering and some strange screeching noise. It's probably because I watched it dubbed. The translators really dropped the ball with this movie.
Like during that scene where Evelyn monolouges about murdering the Incredibles they translated their names too. Wierdly enough that the only scene that does that, everywhere else they keep their original English names.
Although me and my girlfriend found it funny that Bob's and Helen's names in the dub were the same as ours.
