>>103849201It's a bit more complicated than that.
The initial list of complaints was less an expose and more of a laundry list of incompetencies by the Channel Awesome executives (Doug and Rob Walker and Mike Michaud). There was an anonymous story included in which a female member of the website relayed her experiences as the molestation victim of one of the site's members and the subsequent cover-up of the incident.
That particular story almost got shrugged over, but when the CA board (probably just Mike Michaud) made a weak statement about the document, they chose to single out and attempted to refute the story. However, by doing so they accidentally left breadcrumbs that pointed to the perpetrator in question as being JewWario. Iron Liz, who at the time was Linkara's girlfriend and (I believe) worked with the site as emotional/therapeutic support during anniversary events and conventions (I'm probably wrong), would go on to confirm that it was indeed JewWario who was the perp. When his actions were reported, the execs swept it aside; I believe that after his eventual ousting there were plans made to quietly bring him back into the fold as well.
Regardless, it's not certain why exactly he committed suicide, save for the usual blame on depression. Regardless, it was one more nail in CA's coffin.
