From then on every episode is worse than the previous one and there is no way around it, it really feels like a bad fanfic where Jack and ashi keep getting trapped together in dangerous situations only for them to fall in love but not really
What killed it for me was Ashish mom showing up only to get inmediately killed, like EAS that scene necessary? Was there a point to it? Couldn't it have been handled better? No because the only point was to show the audience how much ashi loves Jack and how damaged and tragic she is
Like if it was written by a 12 year old girl on DeviantArt, it's never addressed again either, it has no effect on the story whatsoever
