The problem isn't success it's consistency. It's not enough to make an actual living off of Youtube with just millions of views, you need these high numbers consistently per week PLUS have them out in a certain length to qualify for advertisement. That's why despite a single one of his video's getting more views then a typical lets play barely gets the bills but one let's play everyday that at least rakes in 100 thousand views per video makes more money.

Besides, his cartoons based off the big trending video games skyrocket in views in under a week. So his channel is "successful" already even back when he made those retarded pony parodies.

No. Max G has talent and really likes his work (from what I've seen). His channel wouldn't have the same traction if he were to be a storytime channel. Plus he started way before any of those storytellers got popular.

I love Max but you can't serious. Almost all of his videos for half a decade have been piggybacking the latest trend or analysis content, another hyper-populer youtube genre.

Not that I blame him for doing so, becasue he puts a shit ton of work into his animation and this is the only way he make it even come close to being sustainable.

No he just needs to make another series like jerry. Not verbatim but one where it was a story. Wacky game jokes seemed like it was going in that direction of actually having backstories but he got bored of it.
