That, and character dynamics as a whole are fairly shallow. The team also has a mission statement of helping civilians and not being like other superhero teams, but Waid forrgot that idea almost immediately and only remembered it near the end of his run, when the characters talk about how they went completely off-track.
Also, it feels like it's trying too hard to be progressive and diverse. Because of that, it doesn't feel genuine. Making Viv a lesbian and a brown girl added basically nothing to her character.
