Gaiman had Satan be a title, like being a president if hell and Lucifer just being tired of everyone blaming him for shit while he was just chilling in his multidimensional bachelor pad and letting the other fallen angels police themselves with a super shittier version of US Congress mixed with British Parliament. He's scary but hes not really a prime mover Satan (not lucifer, they're two entiely separate people) because Gaiman's Satan wanted to Xanathos the world into a hellscape along with other Satan like villians Hades, The Black, Necron having much more power and causing bigger world ending events with corruption, deception, etc. Trigon in comparison was just a empowered Cyberdemon, strong and a good one on one villian but just a lot of hot air into some hype that wasn't deserved in the grander scale with a team and compared to the other creatures like him. To the point of Raven not being called a mary sue its because she knows shes a fuckup and when she tries to angst, both her teammates and the universe reminds her that that just makes her even more of a fuckup. Except fir the OG comic series where she mindbended Beast Boy and Robin to have feelings for her to get the team back together, she isn't portrayed as a hypercompetent goddess nor is she untouchable to scorn, hijinks, and being the brunt of a joke, even in the shit show that is Teen Titans GO. Shes not a mary sue because shes treated the same to every other titan, nobody puts her on a pedestal nor does she get away scott free when she deserves punishment for her actions.
