she is a really terrible person, she acts entitled, bitchy, she is dumb and annoying and treats marco like a door matt!!
she learns nothing from her mistakes but her parents still give her a really powerful artifact that she looses, nearly destroys on several occasions!!
she kills toffee who was just walking away
so why is she the good guy again??

It's how she acts when the focus shifted to the kingdom, anon. Not that royalty shouldn't act entitled, but it is an annoying enough trait back in the first two seasons, and s3 amplified that by about a thousand times

It's funny in a sense, there really hasn't been a Disney show that I can think of where the protagonists truly are villains. Somehow every single character is a cunt. And no one and even the show doesn't seem to care as long as she pairs up with Mexican cunt in the most painfully obvious setup I've ever seen in a cartoon

Most people of Mewni are terrible you have give props to Star for actually caring about Monsters. Sure it took Marco to help her realize it, but that actually lead her to trying to make a difference. I also do think she's be growing as a character by choosing to not runaway and stay with her people at a time of crisis. She's 15 so she's going to make selfish decisions I know I did when I was her age. Not that's an excuse for shoddy writing which you are more than welcome to critic. But I wouldn't say Star as person is really that bad. I would say Star treats Marco kind for the most part. That doesn't justify what she did. But Marco was very selfish to Jackie, and occasionally Star as well. Of course when he hurt her it came from a place of good intentions, vs when Star hurt Marco it came from a place of her not wanting to confront her feelings and problems. The show had problems that for sure but I think you're giving Star too hard of a time.
