Essentially everyone except the select few named character's who reflect the author's bias go out of their way to be as braindead retarded as possible.
I think it was Civil War storytimed here once, where Jhonny Storm almost gets killed by an angry mob because they blame for some super randos getting a school nuked. What really blows me away is that he outright tells them he was busy LITERALLY SAVING THE UNIVERSE and has no bearing on what some retards did and they EQUATE HIM TO A CHILD KILLER AND ALMOST KILL HIM FOR THAT.
And this wasn't some psudo organized mob banging on his door, this was doezens of individuals in line at a club. Dozens of distinct, unique people who by all accounts should have their own unique experiences and perspectives. But nope, literally every single person there genuinly believes he's essentially a kiddy killer and loses themselves in a blind and violent rage in an attempt to kill him. This isn't a woman trying to prostitute at the Mecca, this is the corner street of everyday America and Marvel wants us to believe that not only are these normal, every day people, but also that these are people worth saving. It's fucking insane that no writer or editor pointed out how retarded this was, let alone the fact that this made it to print on one of Marvel's single biggest stories.
