I think Marvel really hasn't put the effort into showing why we should see this. Hell, Aquaman's NYCC's footage legit surprised me. That shot of the chase through that desert city is just gorgeous, where as the Captain Marvel trailer just looks so...bland. Like, we haven't been shown what Carol is all about, her supporting cast are Kree and SHIELD, both tend to be snoozefests of metal, grey interiors, and even the special effects look like a TV show budget.
The second trailer desperately needs to step it up, cause a hero that falls from the sky and wanders around the US Desert region with SHIELD sounds an awful lot like Thor...
