And I watched a lot of cartoons where the super hero is founded by a rich organization or he himself is the leader of that rich organization so this was typical cartoon stuff for me.

Sonic X had a lot of style over substance. Very typical of Marathon and any japanese/french cartoon studios and writers who live in perfect world where indifference, abandonment and insecurity is the main problem rather than money, responsibility, sincerity, maturity and getting the fuck over it and accepting that Sonic has his own world and his own friends and his own cares and needs and your retarded self-insert shouldn't be in the center of attention.
"Oh gee maybe Sonic has better friends than me, maybe I should learn to be a better friend, nope Sonic was my boyfriend and should have been loyal to me and only me"
I mean for God's sake that last episode of season 2 was fucked up.
But this is a typical reoccurring problem with superhero cartoons where the clingy hero's friend gets too needy and clingy. For those sort of cartoons it's normal for the main hero's friend to be a clingy piece of shit who feels abandoned or betrayed when the hero hangs out with anyone else but him.
