Law school want you to work on a court or a study for 2-3 years before they actually give you the degree(pro bono of course), then you still want to do lawyer shit for 5 or so years before you apply for government offices, prosecutors or political parties, they want you to work with them at least 10 years from then on before giving you anything above entry level positions, In town halls, state governments and so on it's the same with a very top down structure and a lot of steps for you to go through before your name means anything.
I would assume Callie probably got speedballed a bit because everyone else probably died or quit but she still wouldn't be under 30 even if she aced everything.
