It's aimed at kids. The animation is very early 2000s but with some laziness to it. It's not terrible, but it's not going to fly with the kids. BamBam and Pebbles in particular have extremely bland designs, when what they should be going for is something like young heroes.
The writing is really stiff, doesn't have any momentum to it, things are just happening, and most of what's happening is just some talking. There are a lot of jokes but the closest they come to being clever is with the T-rex and the surprise animals it's trapped and the very concept of Wiki, both of which are overdone while the rest just fall flat.
If it came out 20 years ago, I could see it getting three seasons. In today's environment though, the standards are just a hell of a lot higher and this shit won't fly.
Possible retooling: Revamp the character designs. Bara fred from the DC comic miniseries worked great and that kind of fresh take would change the atmosphere a lot from the original show, which it's clear they want to do. Do the same with the kids. They don't need to look like the original Ben 10 and Gwen--those two got sexualized to hell and back and it's still not stopping--but they should have a more appealing style that will make kids want to watch along.
Along with that, just...better writing and a clearer tone. Craig of the Creek is a mediocre cartoon, as is We Bare Bears and Family Guy and all these other things, but they know what the hell they want to do. This is too torn between "Flintstones ten years later" and "The adventures of Pebbles and BamBam". You've got to pick one and stick with it, not halfass both of them.
