IT's not really a big mystery, being an artist is extremely stressful because you always worry about that one part of your product or written thing just didn't make any sense. The conclusion wasn't written right, it wasn't done correctly.
It really didn't make any sense! The list just keeps going and going and sooner or later. So what do the artists do in this time of peril? They go into their safe spaces and basically hug their teddy bears because they hate change. With an artist, you're never going to stop changing if anything you have to change to keep up with the flair and trend of being a cartoonist or even writing a book.
You have to note about what drives the social peeps to your comic is it your comedy or the fact that you have trans people in it?
Also once you get an established fanbase, you basically command that fanbase to do whatever you want and whatever you say or else you won't make any comics (Dobson's scenario is basically the perfect point of example here Anon).
The list continues to go on and on and on about life changes and how people really just don't want to admit that they're shit because they'll fucking kill themselves over it. Which is a stupid fucking reason not to actually give a fuck about your situation or your craft. To understand the vital point of why things don't make any sense, you have to delve in deep and pull your shit and fix your shit. But these fuckers are also lazy as hell. Zack from Paranatural is a perfect example of this, we used to have magnificent colors and backgrounds and actual substance, but now it's blank spaces because "Ow my fucking arm"
