Those are somewhat difficult questions to answer for a lot of reasons. My mother and my father broke up 3 times. Once after my brother was born, once after I was born, and for the last time after my younger brother was born. I saw him maybe 8 times total in my life before he died of liver failure when I was 20(ironically two days before my mother gave birth to my sister, my step father’s first born). However, I have learned that of all my brothers, he visited me the most, and I am the only one that can claim to have had relationship with him. And growing up, my mother made it clear to all of us that my brothers were accidental conceptions, but I was planned. So that could have fueled more hate I had two step fathers, my permanent one being I when I was 12.
As for our income bracket, I never truly knew. My mother didn’t attend college until after I was in high school, but she was a banker and then a paralegal when I was in elementary, and I always grew up with the most recent game consoles, toys, and a good PC. So I have no idea if we were poor or not. I didn’t have a bed of my own until I was 15(I slept in the floor from age 7) and I always had to do the cooking and cleaning, and I always assumed we were poor, but I can’t tell for sure. My step father started a somewhat successful company, so I was definitely middle class or upper middle class as a teen.
I’m full bio with my brothers and then half with my sisters.
Here’s the problem, my mother is a notorious liar, she even attempts to change stories that I was present for, and I never knew my father enough to trust him. So I will never know the truth about anything. I’m like 75% sure my mother is actually insane though.
