Parenting is incredibly demanding, time-consuming, limiting and fucking expensive (around 10k per year), for decades to come.
Plus carrying the child to term and pushing it out is hard on your body, even with epidurals or whatnot the pain of giving birth can be compared to having a limb torn off during 3-24+ hours, your body will likely never recover to what it was before pregnancy & birth and there may be all sorts of complications, plus the social damage you take as being pregnant, the income you lose having to go on maternity leave and having to get jobs where you can leave early enough to pick up the kid from daycare (goodbye career) etc.
My cousin for example lost the ability to control her urinating because she pushed slightly wrong giving birth and had to wear incontinence pads till she managed to get corrective surgery.
Meanwhile having an abortion before 10 weeks or such is hardly "butchering" anything, the embryo doesn't even count as a fetus yet let alone a "kid". It can't even feel pain before week 24 because the central nervous system isn't there, nor does it have a developed brain enough to have any sort of conception of self or anything, really.
For many women, having an abortion is waaaaaayyyyyyy less life-changing and thus a lesser evil than having a fucking kid. It can still be traumatic, though.
