What went so wrong? How did we get to this insincere passionless level of crap? All these cash grabs, poorly written stories that feel so trite? All these shitty ass movies with no originality or personality to them?

Marvel Comics:

I never thought I'd miss Bendis, but here we are.

MCU:
>Peaked with Iron Man
>No more character-driven stories
>Every movie since Age of Ultron feels soulless, passionless devoid of any personality
>Last good movie was Captain America: Winter Soldier

Yes, some movies are entertaining, but there's always something missing. It's like the difference between Raimi's Spider-Man and Homecoming. Literally no soul. It's a better adaptation but a worse movie by far. They all feel so sterile, afraid of taking risks and like they're just one more cog in a money making machine.

Take Thor 3 for instance. I had a great time watching it, but I can't bring myself to care or bring a shit about the character.

Even the fucking newest Spider-Man game for PS4 was better than anything Marvel has put out in years! It has everything you can see Marvel DOESN'T! The people who made that game clearly loved Spidey so much it shines through it.
