I don't hate Hickman, but you can cut out everything from Secret Wars before the confrontation between Doom and Richard's, and nothing would change.
Nine issues dragged out way longer than they needed to be that were ultimately pointless. If you liked Doom's LARP world, that's fine, but I didn't like it and hated that every book being published at the time had to be canceled for it.

This is the order for all of Marvel cosmic from that era. You can skip anything that says "Saga" on it cuz they're essentially recaps.

Only read "Secret Invasion: Inhumans" if you like Inhumans. Feel free to skip "Realm of Kings: Son of Hulk" it doesn't add to the overarching narrative.

The Pre-Annihilators stuff isn't essential either, but it's all pretty good. If you read any then in order of quality

>Silver Surfer: In Thy Name
>Stormbreaker
>Beta Ray Bill Godhunter
>Silver Surfer Vol. 6
>Silver Surfer Vol. 5, which is listed as #1-6 here but you need all 12 issues for it to make sense so I don't know why no one's changed it yet.

I also have no clue how much of this is on Marvel Unlimited

This was good because Brevoort, Quesada, and the shit editors were too busy with Civil War and didn't give a shit about this leaving good editors like Andy Schmidt and Bill Rosemann to handle the whole thing.

No. It was not. It seems better than the sewage being pumped out since Secret Wars ended. It is not very “good” though. It’s regular mid tier Marvel fare. But in space. Perfectly readable. With mostly butt ass ugly art. I liked it just fine. I own copies of both events. It’s regular comics.
