Not sure but they're referenced on the cover.

This is shaping up to be a great volume/conclusion. Very few comic universes feel this lived in, with this much history and investment.

It definetly has a cult following, its the only book in a decade that made me actually walk into a comic book shop. Both issues have been sold out in a day in my LCS and issue #1 is already going for a 2nd printing

Well in the previous issue, the bearded guy on the Victory Vanguard traveled back in time to kill the Seven Stars because the Victory Vanguard took the glory from them (which was about defeating the kid-monster) and implied something bad had happened to the Victory Vanguard in the future.

It's possible but until Moore writes in more about what happened to the Marvelman Family, I'm assuming it could go either way. You could assume they were killed by James Bond or whoever in the LOEG world, or you can imagine that they just simply disappeared from the LOEG world (because Gargunza woke them up to send them to their doom with the nuclear device trap).

Archie's Fly got referenced in Black Dossier (along with Linda Turner and Billy Batson) so it's not too surprising Flygirl exists as well. We haven't seen Brain Boy or Crimson Avenger (who was mentioned on the previous page), I think.

If he's adding Captain Marvel knock-offs and analogues, I wonder if he could add Fatman the Flying Saucer or Tod Holton, Super Green Beret.

Short version is that the acronym is a call sign from this conspiracy that got it's start as a failed competitor to the US Postal Service.
