Woobly hedgehog syndrome is a disease akin to human's multiple sclerosis. The reason it's called WHS is because the disease degrades their muscle control, so they can't stand still stably. Eventually, it leads to total muscle control loss, to the point where they become completely immobilized and have to be put down. WHS cannot be cured.
Basically, Wobbleposters talk about taking care of Hedgehog as she slowly dies, first losing her ability to walk, then the loss of her bodily functions, her arms, her speech, and finally a vegetative state before she has to be euthanized.
