>>102632173Listen, man. I understand your confusion.
I never understood why everyone hated furries until I met them. I always thought they got way too much shit online, that there were far worse fetishes out there.
But the real reason people hate furries actually has nothing to do with their sexual fetish. The problem is with their attitude.
You see, much of the original furry community was gay. Many of the people who first got into fox-man porn did so because they didn't want to admit their attraction to REAL men. Furry porn was an easy way to deny their sexual orientation before they finally came out to themselves.
Not that there's anything wrong with this. There's nothing wrong with being gay or even jacking off to furry porn. The thing is, because the furry community was so close to the gay community, they started adopting their behaviors and attitudes. They began to regard their fetish as an identity. And they went after anyone who expressed even a middling distaste for their fetish.
It was ok when gay people did this. It made sense for them to forge an identity, to lash out against anyone intent on pushing them back into the dark. But furries did the exact same thing, and probably damaged the gay community's credibility in the process.
They branded anyone who was less than enthusiastic about their fetish as "bigots" or "fursecutors." Started harassing them by spamming the most hideous, disgusting furry porn they could possibly find. Torture porn... animal-people slowly turning into couches and shit.
You don't see other fetishes doing this. You don't see BDSM couples wearing their leather in public, or tentacle folk dressed up as octopuses. But furries do this all the time. They're like that one guy who won't shut up about all the women he's fucked, except they're morally superior about it.
That's why everyone hates them. There's nothing wrong with having a fetish, but furries are some of the most obnoxious, smug, self-righteous people on the internet.
