As far as their overall skills, my plan is for Cinderella to be the empath of the group, so to speak. That's why she's the leader; she can get along and coordinate with literally anyone, from woodland animals to horrible monsters.
She also just has a lot of common sense, a product of her good upbringing, a bit like Superman. Aurora's a sorceress: the fairies taught her magic and she's rather good with it, which just increases her sense of superiority. Belle, of course, has all her book reading, and she's a handy mechanic, too. Jasmine's something of an acrobat, and I'm going to assume she has her fucking tiger on hand also. Rapunzel has all the hair magic she has in her own show. And of course Mulan's a trained warrior.
Also, I'd like to make Snow White a really important plot point/Macguffin for the overall show. She is the first princess, after all.
