The social justice stuff is not a fad, its a cult. This is a show that advertises itself, not on any value it has, but on its "diversity", with a team that consists of nothing but a racially homogeneous mix of ugly pink haired women. At any other time, this would be mocked and laughed at, because its so illogical, so blatantly dishonest, not today, because people have been taught the narrative and values that make them think this is okay. Crunchyroll made the conscious decision to fund this show, no one, at any level of production, is interesting in creating ANYTHING appealing, and they are consciously aware of the backlash it would receive due to them blocking comments/votes. They act like this and they continue to act like it because they are rewarded by society for behaving like that.
After all, its not limited here, its found in the entire western animation industry, its found in numerous other industry, its found in politics, and on all forms of social media.
