However, it is important to note that the rectum is far more sensitive to damage than the vagina which is built to withstand penetration. As such, caution is advised. But you probably don't plan to blindly ram stuff into yourself, anyway.
Anyway, the prostate is the most interesting part in terms of male anal. Stimulate it reliably and you will reduce a guy to a twitching mess drooling from the dick. Although, again, careful. You are manipulating a gland here and want to start low on the intensity, then work upwards from there. You will probably hear and feel when you hit it right and when not.

Once you feel confident to have loosened your butt up a bit, you want to do a bit of cleaning before going in, use an enema of warm water (slightly below body temperature, you don't want it cold or to burn you) to flush your rectum out. This also take a bit of practice to find out when your rectum is full and when it's all out. I personally probe for dregs with a finger and flush with a shower hose (screw off the head) on very low intensity. The shower is just the best place you can do this.
