Most Nedroid comics have several punchlines, often close to one per panel. He is legitimately a genius writer. This is a well known example. Three out of four panels have a joke in them.

This comic would be aggressively unfunny if it didn't have the fourth panel.
The randomness in the third panel can't function as its own punchline, it's to soften you and bring you out of balance for the real punch.
The fouth panel ties it all together, it shapes an implied narrative that gives the other panels meaning. Without it, it would be cringy random humor.

No it's not. It is by definition a joke. You can call it a bad joke if you want, but it has a setup Reginald asking what Beartato is thankful for and a punchline Beartato's response.

Any good long joke is almost always several setups and several punchlines, just with the different jokes connected by a narrative. Just because one is less funny than the other, that doesn't mean it's not a joke at all, it just means it's not as good of a joke.
