>>102272637I got a DnD game for my homebrew setting I’d love to have some art of, especially since my Dwarves are a bit strange. Could you draw a dwarf wearing a helmet that covers the entire face? Sorta like ballistic masks? They also are wormlike so could you draw their skin semi-translucent like a worms?
To give a bit of backstory (if you care) the world’s continents are all sleeping god-children from a long ago era. For the Dwarves this means they’ve got a healthy respect for faces, all the tallest places in the world are faces after all. They also believe that if you kill a person who sees you face you’ll be dragged to hell by them. They’re very strange biologically and eat raw meat and soil to survive. They’re like sorta immune to poisons causeof that, they’re stomached are basically super organs that can digest the worst shit and in fact works better with rotted food stuffs. They have this crazy manner of raising children cause they make so many, around 100 per pregnancy. Dwarves start as hairy maggots and have no real sentience or soul for a month or two after being born. Dwarven parents are very hands off in these months and kinda just make a dirt hole and put a lot of raw and rotting meat in the hole. After a few months they’re paired down to five or six healthy little Dwarves and start devoloping cognitive abilities rather than just being hairy maggots. They also have a caste system where clerics of the Dwarven god wear gold masks/helmets shaped like the ancestral face of their Clans founder. This is done only with the priests and clerics as a manner of channeling their ancestors power. Lots of ancestor worship with these guys, tradition is a very important thing with them.
