There is a character in Jojo's part 3 named Kakyoin who does a trick of playing with a cherry in his mouth in a few moments of the story. Near the end, the main antagonist Dio kills Kakyoin by piercing his stomach in a single punch making him a "donut hole" in his stomach. Since then the fanbase calls Kakyoin the "cherry donut", and the image is supposedly cursed because Araki himself is eating a pink "cherry" donut.
