No, I'm talking about the format of the origin mini being split between a present-day A-story (some villain/threat from the past resurfacing in the modern day) and a flashback B-story (a straight retelling of her backstory).
Marvel used it before for Hawkeye and Black Widow before they first showed up in the movies, and it didn't turn out well either time.
The backstory sections were rushed and hard to follow, so they weren't really convenient retellings of the past. And the present-day sections don't really have the strength to stand on their own, because they're too short, and because they're forced to bend over backwards and find ways to dovetail with the flashbacks.
It's generally not as good as the stuff that takes place exclusively in the past like the Season One OGNs, Man Without Fear, or Daredevil: Yellow.
