>>102101145The conflation of crossdressing with transgenderism can sometimes be off-putting. Don't get me wrong, some people who start off just crossdressing wind up realizing stuff about their gender they didn't realize, or they already know and are "just" crossdressing while they're in the closet. I give some leeway for fan interpretations, but when it's clear the person is being forced to crossdress, or they are using it for a disguise and the fans insist that thy are trans it's just obnoxious. It's like those people who run with "Samus is trans," because one guy at Nintendo made a newhalf joke in an interview.
