Seriously turtles fans? Are people THAT butthurt over the new turtles not being "teh grimdark" and being goofy again that they're bombing down its score on IMDB?
we get a new, fresh take on the mythos, in a series that's ALWAYS been freaking goofy to start with (its about TURTLES for gods sake, just look at the 80s version), and the adult fans freak out.
its got fresh and smooth animation, enjoyable fight scenes and action, and jokes that'll sell with the audience its aimed for, and "true fans" still refuse to give it a chance.
it deserves WAY higher on IMDB than that, and it kind of just shows how much adult fans have a hateboner for it that its that low.
