Whenever people use the word term "mean spirited" they generally mean that there is no genuinely funny comedy that can be found in a show's dark humor. Yet I've noticed that people on here ignore this reasoning and just claim that you are a pussy because a character was being mean. If this were the case then the earlier seasons of SpongeBob would have received this complaint.
