>>101979172>I could see them going with a legitimate bloodstone.Bloodstone is a quartz-based semiprecious stone, so a Bloodstone Gem would have proportions similar to Jasper, Amethyst, and the Famethyst.
>>101979456Given the hairstyle, silhouette, and the aforementioned giggle I can see her being more like Cackletta as
>>101978971 mentioned.
This also isn't the first time she's been referenced in a piece of SU-related media, IIRC some official art for Save The Light has Hessonite in a similar pose that Cackletta takes in a piece of official Mario and Luigi art.
>>101978937>my guess is its a red beryl given the fact beryl's like Emerald are high ranking and it has a pixie vibe like Aquamarine.I was originally going to go with her being Morganite (largely in part due to Hessonite being mentioned in Monster Reunion and Legs From Here to Homeworld and appearing as the main antagonist in Save the Light) but the gemstone is way too red to be morganite, morganite has more of a pinkish hue.
>>101980502While I loathe you with every fiber of my being for mentioning that show is should be mentioned that the show-that-should-not-be-named isn't the only example of fiction that depicts dragons eating gemstones.
That and snakes were confused with baby dragons in the olden times and many types of dragons take on serpentine forms Oriental dragons and wyrms are a good example of the latter.
