In hindsight this was obvious but I still think it's notable just how quickly he did it. I'm not sure if he's retreating to Sandy so quickly because he realizes how hard Lucy is stonewalling him and that there's no point to trying to reconcile with her, or just because he's always glued to his phone and it's not that deep.

Mike has clearly considered Sandy as something of an anti-Lucy for quite a while, maybe as far back as his little field trip to go see her early in volume 1.

Well, the line thickness thing just because of edit. If the head was drawn that size to begin with, they'd be consistent.
Aside from that, you're probably right. but the head sizes still aren't enough to distract from the weird perspectives and changing character heights. This page is still fucking weird to look at.
