We have had Age of Apocalypse, where Apocalypse took over the world.
We have had Age of Ultron, where Ultron took over the world.
I think we should have more of these.
Think of a character and come up with an "Age of" story for them.
You don't have to even limit yourself to Marvel characters. DC, Image, hell even cartoons are open to this.
