>>101754715I mean if you want to write what comedy attempt there is in this other than Gawker Headline, I'll listen
>>101754587This is just... an article I'd read on some Gawker site giving Hot Takes there's no zero build up, and the only punchline is 'equating politics to juvenile meet ups behind a hanger' which... isn't a joke if I've hearing it every day for a year. There's nothing here that is unexpected in order to give some sort of impact
>>101754544There's no comedy impact of these. There's terrible pacing and bad punchlines
>>101754435 >>101754505 >>101754473I think it's pretty clear for anyone to see that /pol/'s comics have better impact, better pacing and better punchlines.
I'll give benefit of the doubt that it's that /pol/'s comics are Comics First and are formatted in a direct punchy comic way, and the counter comics being posted are just Political Hot Takes But As Comics, and are not focused on comics.
I think the only person who can make this format funny is Kelly, and it's because he takes that really unfunny format, and does wildly unexpected shit with it. You're pretty much defending the format that Kelly comics make fun. If you wanted to counter with actual funny liberal comics, use his.
>>101754246This doesn't need Dialogue Dialogue, Dialogue to have a) a Hot Take and b) a punchline that is unexpected because it is offensive, which objectively makes it's a better comic than all the counter comics I've posted.
Like, if you are going to defend all the WordsWordsWordsWords of these, I hope you defend the honor of Buckley when people ask Where's The Joke.
Advice: just post Kelly comics, because they are actually funny.
