Despite unimpressive numbers so far for Brian Michael Bendis' issues of Man of Steel, DC remains happy since they know he is the type of writer that sells well in trade and his trade sales have longevity. There have already been talks of collecting his entire run in omnibus format once it's finished

After Heroes in Crisis, a new Booster Gold series will launch. Dan Jurgens said he wants to be involved, either writing, co-writing or providing artwork.

Mark Waid was set to write Shazam with Chris Samnee on art and following some notes from Geoff Johns their versions were too different so Johns has taken it upon himself to write it. So far no artist has been attached.

Speaking of Mark Waid, he is in talks to write something for DC. He has been asked what he wants to work on and his top picks were Superman, Wally West and Wonder Woman but plans for these were already in motion. He was offered Detective Comics, Justice Society of America and Green Arrow but he turned them down. As of right now, the plan is for Waid and Samnee to start work on a Superboy series with promise that once Bendis finishes his run on Superman, Waid will be the next writer.

Talks of the next DC event in the Summer have begun. Brian Michael Bendis has been campaigning hard for it and Geoff Johns is backing him up, Scott Snyder is suggesting James Tynion IV but word is that if Heroes in Crisis sells well then Tom King, who is backed by Dan Didio, will write it.
