This is why writers need to be kept on a leash. Why does Thor or Superman need to be a planet buster? Because writers are retards who want to escalate all over the page. Which then requires more bullshit writing to paper over the holes being opened up, like Kryptonians just don't want to leave, despite being able to conquer the galaxy with just their bodies, let alone tech. Thor is nice and holds back a lot because he likes a good fight and doesn't want to cause unnecessary deaths or collateral damage. When he goes all out shit hits the fan though. But yeah, he's probably the poster boy for marvel jobbers because of this, especially since most writers forget this and just assume he's a glass canon.
