Max interrupts by asking "do the others actually like me?" Hedgehog, still confused but now with a more concerned look now asks Max why he's asking these things. He looks away from her and towards the ground, his eyes picking up something that is laying on the floor, and then quickly looks away. Hedgehog notices and looks in the same direction just to see his hat, laying on the floor. "It's a lie. It's been a lie this whole time." Hedgehog looks back at Max, opening her mouth about to say something back but Max cuts her off again. "I'm not who you think I am, I've been lying about myself this whole time." - "What? What Max, you can tell me." "I-I'm not cool, I-I'm not even liked here am I?" Max now locks eyes with Hedgehog with an incredibly super fucking sad fucking face, like for real. "No one back home likes me. I've never had friends, only people who pretended to be my friends." "Please Hedgehog, please don't lie, you guys are probably sick of me, talking about me behind my back." "NO!" Hedgehog rises out of the bed. "Max, where is this coming from? We all like you. Max, ever since we first came to the island we've all been friends. That hasn't changed, Your as much apart of the group as I or anyone else is. Why are you saying these things?" "So enough, but what do you mean about before you came here?"
