I think the new Dave Harbour Hellboy looks visually better and morel ike the comics Hellboy than the original Perlman one.

His face is way closer to and his general body shape is more in line with the original Seed of Destruction era Hellboy look (which is closest to reality in a certain aspect).

The hand and hair need some work though.

I don't hate the new look. The only two problems that stand out for me is the hand and the hair.
Of course I've only read a few of the comics and my main perspectives are based on the movies.

I think the biggest "problem" will be the new voice. Following Perlman on anything is a challenge this will be downright near impossible.

How's the hand for new one?
I mean the del toro Hellboys had multiple hands so some full animatronic some loose movement for walking some just a big punching fist etc.

Neither of them looks like the comics Hellboy, at least not the one drawn by Mignola. To me he never looked like a bulky, muscular guy, just a big guy, sometimes even a little overweight

Del Taco's right hand of doom is significantly superior, that's given. But the left image does look entirely better. I'm not a fan of the hair down tho. Also when are we getting visible HB legs and talons? Getting tired of the pants and boots look.

90s Hellboy was very muscular, he's gotten increasingly gaunt since Conqueror Worm to the point he basically doesn't have shoulders anymore. Really no person can look like current era Hellboy because his proportions are wildly inhuman.

I had a car black cherry paint, that doesn't look like that color at all. Plus Guillermo's Lovecraft lines on Hellboy add a nice finish.

People dont really remember but Hellboy used to have a more realistic art style.

i still wonder why his coat was pink, and i also wonder why i like his coat being pink so much
