Like E3 trying super hard to show that girl gamers exist (playing their games on stage), and females who work in the industry being brought out during conferences to sell a game; or shoving pointless ethnic/diverse characters into movies which aren't needed for the story and a complete neglect for good writing, banking on progressiveness/representation to rake in ticket sales.
The 2010's is a cringe decade of political marketing, and back-patting.
I'm hoping this is a "get it out of your system" decade, so people will stop giving a shit about generic acceptance/representation art and to desire better entertainment.
