>>101570049Probably because the showrunners wanted to save money by having less voice actors to pay and less characters, cutting it down to bare minimum. For a while, you had a series that only had Shaggy, Scooby and scrappy for the most part, and then they added Daphne back to the main cast, probably because she was popular among the female audience.
Of course, I doubt anyones here has ever even seen or really paid attention to shows of the period of Scooby Doo that happened after the original and before Pup Named Scooby Doo.
Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo is really the lowest point of Scooby's history, yes even worse than anything in the last 20 years
