>>101501092Just because his arc was about becoming a better dad doesn't mean he can't also be an Incredible superhero. He was just such an incompetent pushover throughout.
>Everyone got that criticism thrown at themOnly Bob was specifically targeted. They really hammered in how much of a fuck up he is.
>Bob vs HelenI just would have liked it if they played with the whole Mr Incredible vs Elastigirl fight, that could've been something to behold. But nah two quick stomps for Helen.
>Same as Frozone and a larger role than Helen's who was just saving the villain.Frozone broke off his side and had the big dazzly finish where he unleashed a huge wave of ice. He was impressive throughout the film. Note: Lucius is a side-character, Bob is a main character. How is Helen dealing with the main villain not a bigger role? The crashing ship just was not a fun finale, especially compared to Syndrone's giant robot. I would've left some of the other superheros un-brainwashed so at least the kids had something to do while this was happening. Dash's big role was literally just pushing a button.
>he had to be creative to make things work with his kidsIf by "creative" you mean handing his baby to someone else, and apologizing to Violet, than yeah. That's pretty much it. His arc in this film was about not feeling like a good father; he's suppose to be Incredible at everything, not "so-so." Possibly getting over his ego too in regards to Helen taking up the super mantle over him. This is fine but there wasn't much of a conclusion. The whole family plotline was just sort of typical and boring, Violet really stole the show on that side.
