>>101397683I used to care about Marvel Comics and looked forward to Win-o-threads pretty hardcore a decade ago. Now? Not so much.
DC had some fun stuff back then as well but again, in the current year? Meh. Sideways and other mags are just so mediocre.
I'll always have Usagi Yojimbo so that cheers me up a little. Voltron's pretty good. But Incredibles 2 came out and while I loved the first movie so much, I had massive antipathy for seeing a 'stay at home dad' movie. I had no desire to shell out cash for a ticket. Maybe when it hits the dollar theaters.
I get what you're saying though.7 Years ago we had some okay things going on with the Green Lantern animated series, Clone Wars, and some other shit. Saturday Morning cartoons were still a thing. Then it died. It all died. And I never liked Star Wars Rebels as I kept comparing it to Clone Wars and found it so wanting.
Also, fuck Marvel for their "X-men are bad, Love our Inhumans instead!" complete faggotry. and Slott on Spider-man. I think those two things drove me away from looking forward to comic books and even comic movies the most.
DC: Justice League - Gods and Monsters was pretty tight. I wish we got more of that shit. Rant over.
