Maybe this, I don't know, a lot of people claim this was the best episode or at least most influential in terms of fan art ranging from the live performance of Estell, songs/remixes, costumes, love for garent. Maybe. If not then what?

Adventure, monster fighting, Finn and Jake bond in top form, very good art direction as far as AT goes, a cool musical bit, and a fantastic emotional climax. Other than straight up humor it excelled on every front.

I Remember you is what nailed the coffin shut for Adventure Time. That episode is what lead to the show trying, and usually failing, to tell more emotionally complex stories. It didn't help that the episode humanized Ice King to the point where the writers started treating him like a senile old man rather than a conflict device, so the seasons following it were notorious for walking in circles with no real focus.
